Privacy Policy

1. Overview
This policy explains what personal data Vouchnest collects, why, and what rights you have. It covers both account holders (people who collect testimonials) and submitters (people who leave a testimonial through a collection link).
2. Data we collect
Account holders:
- your email address and password (or your name and email from Google if you sign in with Google);
- your subscription status. Payment details (card numbers, billing address) are collected and stored by Paddle, our payment processor — we never see your card number;
- the spaces and settings you create.
Testimonial submitters: the name, role/title, rating, text and optional video you choose to submit. This content is shown to the account holder for moderation and, if approved, may be displayed publicly on their wall of love and website.
Everyone: basic technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) kept by our hosting providers for security and debugging.
3. How we use data
- to provide the service: accounts, walls, embeds, moderation;
- to process subscription payments through Paddle;
- to send transactional email (password resets, billing notices) — we do not send marketing email without your consent;
- to prevent spam and abuse and to keep the service secure.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not run third-party advertising or tracking.
4. Cookies
We use only essential cookies: the session cookie that keeps you logged in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set.
5. Service providers
We share data only with the providers needed to run Vouchnest:
- Supabase — database, authentication and video storage;
- Vercel — application hosting;
- Paddle — merchant of record and payment processing (Paddle's privacy policy);
- Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.
These providers may store data in data centers outside your country; they each maintain industry-standard safeguards for international transfers.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account (or ask us to), your spaces, testimonials and videos are deleted. Submitters can ask the account holder, or us directly, to remove a testimonial.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email support@getvouchnest.com and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Children
Vouchnest is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
