How to add testimonials to Notion

Notion doesn’t support raw HTML embeds, but you can use the native /embed block with a Vouchnest hosted wall URL, or link out to your public testimonials page. Here are all the ways to showcase social proof inside Notion.

The hosted wall URL (Notion’s preferred method)

Notion uses iframes for embeds, not raw HTML. Instead of the widget snippet, you’ll paste your Vouchnest hosted wall URL directly into an /embed block. Your wall is public, responsive, and updates automatically.

Example hosted URL

https://vouchnest.com/wall/your-space-slug

Self-updating

Approve a testimonial in your dashboard — it appears on the wall automatically. No redeploy needed.

Responsive

The wall adapts to any container width. Works on desktop, tablet, and mobile out of the box.

Public sharing

Your hosted wall is a fully public page. Anyone with the link can view it, even without a Notion account.

No code? Use the hosted wall page

Every Vouchnest space gets a hosted wall page at vouchnest.com/wall/your-space-slug. Paste that URL into any Notion page as a bookmark, link, or /embed block. No code required, and the wall updates the moment you approve new testimonials.

  5. 5This creates a workflow: add a testimonial in Notion → it appears on your wall automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a Notion paid plan?+

No. The /embed block and public page sharing work on Notion's free plan. You only need a paid plan if you're using Notion API integrations at scale or need advanced permissions like guest groups.

Can I embed on private pages?+

Not directly. Notion blocks third-party iframes from rendering on private pages for security reasons. If you need testimonials on a private page, use a link to your hosted wall — or make the page public and add password protection.

Will testimonials update automatically?+

Yes. When you use the /embed block with your Vouchnest hosted wall URL, the iframe loads the latest version of your wall every time the page is visited. Approve a testimonial in your dashboard and it appears instantly.

Can I customize the embed size?+

Yes. Notion lets you resize embed blocks by dragging the edges. You can set a specific height and width for the iframe. The Vouchnest wall is responsive and will adapt to the iframe dimensions you choose.
